Commercial Office and Warehouse at Seven Hills

Built in 2009, this airy office and warehouse was the new home for a joinery company, designed with space and efficiency in mind.

The building consisted of a warehouse, upper floor office and basement car park. Tilt-up panel construction was used to speed up the time of construction. The roof framing was directly fixed by the pre-cast walls. The panels were supported on piles, instead of using traditional steel columns. The upper floor was built on slabs. The entire building and first floor is free of columns. In the basement, tilt-up panels were used as retaining walls.
